It was with great sadness that we were notified of the death of Alan Smiley on the 20th February.
Alan Smiley in his prime years was one of the fastest forwards in the game who with his bubbly personality always played the game with great passion.

Following the CERH congress in St Omer on 31st October 09 the NRHA confirms that in all National Competitions Team Faults will only be awarded and recorded when the whistle has been blown and the game stopped.

Training on the New Rules of the Game

At the CIRH Congress, held in Japan at the World Ladies Championships last year, new rules, proposed by the European Technical Committee were approved. They are to be introduced internationally in 2010. In order for us to be ready for them, the NRHA have decided to adopt them domestically for season 2009-10.
