In addition to the New Rules Seminars being held over the weekends of 16th/17th May and the 20th/21st June, we need the opportunity of putting the rules into practice.

We are therefore proposing to use the Lennards Cup, scheduled for the 29th/30th August and the Allen Mezzanines League Cup, scheduled for the 12th/13th September for this purpose.
The venues for both of these events will be published in the near future.

These events will provide the opportunity for Referees, Coaches, Time-keepers and Players to try out the new rules in match conditions.

As these are both senior competitions, if any other club would like to stage a similar event for a different age group, Schoolboys, Ladies or Intermediates, this could also be staged on the same dates.

We would have to ensure that somebody reasonably proficient in the knowledge of the new rules was in attendance at all events, but I do not see this as a problem.

Any Club who would like to stage one of these events, please get back to Val Conroy in the first instance.
