Training on the New Rules of the Game

May 3rd, 2009 · No Comments

refwhistle.jpgAt the CIRH Congress, held in Japan at the World Ladies Championships last year, new rules, proposed by the European Technical Committee were approved. They are to be introduced internationally in 2010. In order for us to be ready for them, the NRHA have decided to adopt them domestically for season 2009-10.

Over the weekends of the 16/17 May and 20/21 June, we will hold training sessions regarding the new Rules of the Game.

They will be held at the Bushfields Sports Centre, Orton Centre, Peterborough in a room on the first floor.
The current plan is to have one session each day starting at 10.00am.
However, if the response is greater than we expect, we will either put two sessions on in a day or arrange further sessions at another time.

Through the CERH, we have arranged for the National Technical Director of Spain, Carlos Feriche, who has been involved with the rule changes since the idea was first muted, to come to England to oversee these sessions.

We will have manuals and CD’s available for all attendees.

The sessions are not only restricted to Referees.
They are open to Coaches, Time-keepers and players.

There is no charge for attendance at the sessions.

Please would you email back to me which day you would like to attend, so that I can get an idea of the number of attendees for each day.

Thanks,

Keith Allen
