All the final games of the Pool Rounds of the European League are being played on the 14th March.
Herne Bay United v Reus Deportui at the Pier in Herne Bay. There is an earlier start this time – doors and bar will open at 6.00pm. The main match will start at 19.30. This will allow those who found the lateness of the other games difficult to manage to not miss seeing one of the most spectacular team of famous players in action.
Pedro Gil is one of the most recognisable players in the world! His style of play is strong, skillful and executed with total commitment. Marc Gual is a superb goal scorer and with Guilem Trabal alongside they make a formidable pair. Add Matas Platero, Xavier Caldu, Toni Sanchez and Jordi Garcia to the mix and they are some team! The ‘keepers Roger Molina and Jordi Molet back them up brilliantly and the final team member is also world renowned, Jose ‘Negro’ Paez one of the famous Paez family. His brother plays for FCB and in England some players could be using a ‘Negro’ Paez signature Reno Stick!
If you have one maybe you could ask him to sign it for you after the match….
There will be a Reus Shirt Raffle – Reus have generously donated one so make sure you get your ticket on the way in as the winner will be presented with his unique prize at half-time and it could be you!
Herne Bay United may not compete in this League again – even if eligible – so the likelihood of teams of the calibre we have had at the Pier this season returning is remote.
Make every effort to get here this time and help create the atmosphere with hooters, horns, drums and clappers that will spur the English champions to put on their best ever performance and make the visitors work for the result.
Tickets available on the door – £4 (adults) & £2.50 (under 16) Under 6 Free.
