Carlos Amaral has announced the November schedule for our National Training weekend.
You can see or download the National Training player timetable. Changes have been made to the sessions that players should attend.
National Training Registration
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NO PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED TO START TRAINING WITHOUT HAVING COMPLETED THE NEW NATIONAL TRAINING REGISTRATION FORM (UNDER 18) (OVER 18) . PLEASE BRING THIS WITH YOU ON THE DAY OR EMAIL ME FOR A FORM.
FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE ON THE DAY, HOWEVER PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS WILL DELAY THE TRAINING START TIME OF THE PLAYER.
SATURDAY 15 NOVEMBER
Session 1
09:00 to 12:00
Session 2
11:00 to 14:00
Session 3
14:00 to 17:00
All the above sessions are for development projects. Players will mainly stay in their development session for their year of birth; however I will ensure that players attend the session that will benefit their development the most.
Players in attending session 3 who would also like to be considered to attend the Development Squad on a Sunday morning must contact me first for assessment.
Schoolboys
17:00 to 20:00
The Schoolboy Open Session will continue the preparation for the European Schoolboys in 2009. I have included all current payers on my data base, born 1993/1994, to this open session.
Players who wish to be considered for the European Championship next year must attend this session.
These players are also welcome to attend the Development Squad in the morning between 09:00 to 12:00.
SUNDAY 16 NOVEMBER
Development Squad
09:00 to 12:00
This session is open to all players who are eligible for National Squads, but have not been selected on this occasion and would like to be considered for the next Championship, or players that are part of the National squads and would like additional training.
Also if you are not old enough for National Squads but would like to participate in additional training in the Development Squad, then please contact me for assessment.
Ladies Development
11:00 to 14:00
Players in this session who would also like to be considered to attend the Development Squad on a Sunday morning must contact me first for assessment
Ladies Seniors
14:00 to 17:00
The Ladies Open session will continue the preparation for the Senior Ladies European Championship. All players born 1994 and older are eligible for this competition and the European Ladies Under 19 Championships in 2009. All players born between 1995 and 1991 inclusive will be eligible for this competition.
Players who wish to be considered for the European Championships next year must attend this session.
These players are also welcome to attend the Development Squad in the morning between 09:00 to 12:00.
Juniors/Seniors
17:00 to 20:00
The Junior open session continues the preparation for the World Championships in 2009. I have included all current payers on my data base, born 1990, 1991 and 1992, to this open session.
All Junior players who wish to be considered for the World Championships next year must attend this session.
I am also inviting Senior players to attend this session to help in their own and club development and for me to assess players for the possibility to join the main squad for preparation of the World Championships. Also I intend to organise a trip to Portugal or Spain for an Under 23 National Squad.
These players are also welcome to attend the Development Squad in the morning between 09:00 to 12:00.
National Training Clothing
Please ensure that you wear a white National Training T-Shirt that has “England Roller Hockey” printed on the back and the NRHA logo on the front. These can be purchased on the day at a cost of £7. You are also required to wear white socks and blue shorts.
Registration & Payment
Please ensure that you register and make your payment before you enter the rink.
Attendance
Please be aware that if you do not attend National Training for 3 months in a row, then your name will be removed from the list. You will be able to return to National Training, however you will need to contact me for assessment first.
New Players
All new players who would like to attend National Training should contact me first to discuss which session they should attend.
