This year the system for appointing referees to premier league matches will be amended, which will hopefully make it easier for all clubs on the whole.
Clubs will only be responsible to appoint 1 referee from the approved list.
The second referee will be appointed on behalf of the NRHA by Mike Richardson.
The costs for referees will still be the responsibility of the home club, however the NRHA appointed referee will only be able to claim a maximum of £30 actual costs per match / day, and any remainder will be claimed by the referee from the NRHA (Referee Association).
The referees appointed by the NRHA will be done ASAP for the first weekend of matches (11th / 12th October) followed very shortly afterwards with a 3 month rota for November, December, and January. Subsequent lists will be issued through the season and these will be issued to the clubs via the competition secretary.
The club appointed referee names should be forwarded ASAP to Mike Richardson, on spinner65@sky.com
