England Ladies are preparing for the world championships which are being held in Japan. Due to the vast cost of the competition the team have been holding fund raising events. As many of you may have seen at National Training on the Sunday we have had a Cake stall which has been very successful raising £146 so far. So thank you to all our customers and please keep coming back for more. (We already have a few regulars!!)
One of our next ventures is to hold a Tombola at Ardleigh Car Boot Sale on the Bank holiday Monday. With the support of the Team their friends and families we currently have over 170 prizes ranging from board games, dog toys, smellies, chocolates, jewellery, bags, Fiat mouse, £20 restaurant voucher and lot’s of wine. So all the prizes are good let’s just hope the car Booters think the same and buy lot’s of tickets. If it goes well we might do another one later in the year.
We have also been writing to companies asking for help. TBS have donated 16 books for us to use in our fundraising. We are currently trying to think of the best way to get the maximum return on these.
We currently have a sponsored goal event running for the remaining division 2 games this year and Kirsty is currently looking into a sponsored skate
