Carlos Amaral has informed us that the Angolans have failed to obtain their Visas for the UK. This is in spite of much paperwork and effort by NRHA President, Keith Allen, liaising with the Embassy.

FORTUNATELY a replacement team has been found. Riba de Avre from Portugal have stepped in to fill the gap at VERY short notice and the NRHA and the England Senior Management are very grateful to them.

The programme on Saturday will remain as listed but on Sunday there may be slight changes. The HBU v Halifax (Nat Cup semi-final) will take place at 9.00am.

OK, They may not be the National Team we were expecting but Riba de Avre will test the England team which was the original aim of the exercise and they will be worth watching.
Please do not change your mind about attending as spectators are a vital ingredient as last weekend’ds big match showed and you may find a reduction on ticket prices when you do arrive!
