Keith Allen, the President of the BRSF has informed PRH that Traditional Roller Hockey has been dropped from the World Games in favour of inline hockey.
The World Games is seen as the stepping stone to the Olympics. “Because the Top Six Roller Hockey Nations have not taken serious part of the World Games, Roller Hockey has lost it’s place” said Keith at the NRHA Under 20’s League Tournament, in Kings Lynn on Sunday 30th March.
“The development push we are experiencing in the UK does not seem to be reflected abroad” said Tony Czifra of the NRHA of England.
The NRHA are yet to receive written confirmation of the report from CIRH, but Mr Allen’s advance notice is no doubt correct.
