HERNE BAY UNITED play the 2nd (home)leg of 1st Round of European Champions League on Saturday 21st October at Pier Pavilion, Herne Bay.

The draw took place on 2nd Oct and HBU were drawn against ‘local’ Club SCRA of St Omer, France and the ‘away’ game takes place Sat 14th October in St Omer.

Before the main game at both venues each Club will have their Under 11s playing 2 games.

In France the programme will start at 6.00pm with the main match at 8.30pm
At the Pier on the 21st the programme will start at 7.00pm with the main Match at 9.00pm.
Tickets will be £4 (adults) and £2 for those under 16.

We hope as many as possible will take the opportunity of seeing some international hockey especially as it is such a rare occurance in the UK. The very young teams will experience playing before an audience very partisan in their support and in an atmosphere they are not likely to have know before.
SCRA will be accompanied by quite a number of supporters who will have their usual noisy drums, horns etc to rally their teams.
Can HBU find some supporters to drown them out and support UK hockey?

We would like to think we can!
