Day 5
England 1 Switzerland 5
The Team, maintaining their diamond defence held the 1st half and had more chances than the opposition but the half-time score was 0 – 0.

A deflected goal in the 2nd minute gave the Swiss the opening and with another two following and England were now chasing the game. Coach Phil McVey had to take risks and although we won two penalties only 1 was converted, by Matt White. Another goal was disallowed after initially appearing to award it.

The total number of cards collected were:
Yellow – 8, Blue – 4, 2 direct, Red – 2, Liam Holland and David White who will both be stood down from the final game v Austria today.
