Coach Phil McVey gave this comment following the match, “After the good performance against Spain I was ecpecting a repeat against the French. Unfortunately the team under performed, we were not strong enough in the tackles or when in possession. The team realise this and are eager to put things right in the next match when they face Germany. I am looking forward to a much improved performance full of commitment and passion.
