Aaron Scott, Captain of the Manchester Under 15’s team leads the scoring charts. “We introduced these charts in the NCRHA Leagues to create a bit of a buzz in the leagues. We will be giving a ‘golden’ stick award to the top scorers in each league” said Ian Lawson, Competitions Secretary for NCRHA.

“Unfortunately the introduction of this has coincided with coaches of some teams encouraging their teams to go out and put as many goals past novice teams as possible, resulting in a few tears” said Tony Czifra, NCRHA Referees Exec. At the NCRHA mtg on 26th Feb, the idea was suggested to the top clubs to give their subs a chance against the newer teams in the league.
