HERNE BAY UNITED will play the ‘home’ leg of their European CERS Cup on Sat 7th Jan at the Pier Pavilion, start time 8.00pm.
Their opponents are the Swiss Club UTTIGEN. This team finished 5th in the Swiss Premier League last season and are familiar to any England Senior player as they have visited them as part of their preparation for San Jose. Uttigen are one of the strongest Clubs in Switzerland and the current team is typical of the country, strong and efficient.
They play HBU after being knocked out of the Champions League by losing to top Spanish Club Noia, 3-6 and 0-4.
Tickets for the match will be on sale on the door for £3.50 (adults) and £2.50 (under 16).
