Northern Counties Clubs came together last weekend for the first event of the season. Moss Side, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Sheffield and Halifax competed at the Rainbow Leisure Centre, Middlesbrough.

Some hard matches were played, the new system of referees allocation worked very well with experienced referees from all clubs being paired with new provisional referees. No Referee was forced to Referee too many games, or officiate over their own club.
