The NRHA Executive Committee are pleased to give notice that as part of our Child Protection Policy we have registered with Atlantic Data (an officially appointed umbrella organisation of Criminal Records Bureau) to carry out Disclosure checks on our behalf.

From the beginning of the 05/06 season it will be mandatory for all accredited Coaches, Referees and Club Secretaries to have checks done. These will all be funded by the NRHA. To avoid holdups at the beginning of the season it has been agreed that the process will commence immediately.

Pam Dann , in her capacity as the appointed Child Protection Officer, will be responsible for dealing with the checks. She will contact directly all those on the lists supplied to her by the NRHA.

These CRB checks are now a necessary requirement by our Insurers, most Sports Centres and of course parents. Further details are being sent to all Club Secretaries, Coaches and Referees by the Gen.Sec.
