The NRHA have announced there is to be a Seminar for Referees of all grades.
It will be held on Saturday 30th October 2004 at Hitchen Priory School, beginning at 3.30pm through until 5.30pm.
The Seminar is open to all grades of referee, whether they are to referee nationally or regionally and it is hoped all will attend where new directives and views of the NRHA Executive will be heard and discussed.
This year the NRHA Executive members decided that in order to referee in any National competition-Premier, Division 1, Inter-regional(Nat) in any age group,- Referees have to be assessed/accredited,regions can use any registered referee.

3 Assessment days have already taken place in September at Immingham,Peterborough and Soham. Of the 85 referees notified, 22 replied and have been assessed, 6 are awaiting assessment and a further 8 replied as only being available within and for their regional tournaments. Clubs were also asked to encourage referees in their clubs to return the information forms in order that the NRHA could update their very out of date lists.

There is to be a further Assessment day for Referees who wish to be involved Nationally on Sunday 31st October 2004, again at Hitchin at the E Counties Division 1 Tournament BEGINNING at 10.00am. Referees who wish to attend to be assessed for refereeing at National Level should contact the Referee Officer.
