Sunday 21st November 2004 – Farnham Leisure Centre

This year will be the 28th year that Farnham RHC has staged the Farnham Shield (formally known as The Maltings Cup) Invitational Roller Hockey Tournament at Farnham.

We would like to invite your team to join us for this annual event in the Roller Hockey season, as in previous years we will accept players who are aged under 13 years on 1st September 2004.

The event will take place at the Farnham Sports Centre on Sunday 21st November 2004 and commence at 0800 hrs and finish at approx 1600 hrs.

The Tournament will comprise of 8 teams split into two pools. The following Awards will be presented at the end of the Tournament:

•Farnham Shield for the Winning Team
•Medals for the players comprising the Winning and Runners – up
•Placement Shields for each participating Team
•Award for the Most Promising Player – George Maddox Shield
•Fair Play Team Award – Drake – Wilks Cup
•Best Goalkeeper Award
•The Coolest Player Award

As in previous years this event is booked very quickly so an early reply will help to ensure your place, applications will be accepted on a first received basis. Notification of the program will be given as soon as all applications are received.

Rules of Play

1)All players of either sex can participate and must be aged Under 13 on the 1st September 2004.

2)No other overage players of either sex are allowed to participate in any team.

3)Registration cards for all players must be handed to the timekeepers for inspection at the start of the Tournament or 10 mins prior to the start of the teams first match.

4)No player must practice or use sticks and balls within the spectator area.

5)Except as above all other NRHA rules apply.
