NRHA PERMITS

July 6th, 2004 · No Comments

The NRHA has always encouraged Clubs to travel into Europe for competition. It is the best measure of your standard and development. It is also enormous fun and friendships are made which last through the years.
It is an experience not to be missed.
Sadly these invitations have declined in the recent years mostly due to costs and as our domestic calendar has become so full opportunities to accept have also decreased.

A Permit ‘to compete abroad’ is necessary.
The NRHA Insurance does cover for playing overseas but only if we know about it. Hence the form. There is no fee for Under 17s and younger teams but 10 pounds for older teams.
There are also other Permits to be aware of -
‘to use a guest player’.
This is only allowed for International events and then it is restricted to 2 players. This costs 10 pounds also.
-’to host an international/national tournament’. In this instance the fees apply only to senior & junior events. The maximum fee is 40 pounds.

Permits are granted as long as there is no committment by the club to ANY domestic event.
Forms are available from the Gen Sec.
