Sunday 4th July

Subject to completing the written part of the course, the NRHA now has 4 new provisional referees. The course, run by international referee Chris Meacham at Farnham Leisure Centre, concentrated on what a referee is, his responsibilities, and how to referee. Single and double refereeing were also covered, an increasing requirement in games for the future.

Later in the year these referees will be given the opportunity of a practical assessment. In the meantime, more training games will now have proper refereeing.
