Historically, it takes a while for Clubs to get their registrations to
the General Secretary and to generally get their teams ready for
the start of the new season.
In order to assist with both of these issues, the NRHA would like
to introduce the NRHA League Cup.

It will be open for up to 18 Senior Teams.
The teams will be ceded based on their finishing positions in last
season’s competitions.
The format for ceding will be that used by the CIRH for World
Championships.
The teams will be placed into 6 pools of three.
Each pool of three will play against each team in its pool. 2
games per day.
Two pools will be at each of three venues.
Phase 1 will take place on the first weekend of September.
Phase 2 will take place on the 25th September.
The finals will take place at a central venue on the 26th
September.
All places 1 to 18 will be played for.
Medals will be awarded to the players of the first and second
placed teams.
Cups will be awarded for every place.

This season it is intended to stage this event for only Senior
Men.
However, if it is successful it could be extended next year for
other groups.
