The Northern Counties Ladies started their season with a bang and it looks like being one of the closest ladies leagues in years. The NCRHA Comets won 2 games and narrowly lost the other to the Eastern Counties who now head the table after the first tournament.

Bethany Cook (Pippa) was top goal scorer for the day which is fantastic considering she is only 12 with with Claire Hallam of Sheffield in second place.

The northern counties teams both had a full complement of ten players which proves that female rollerhockey is increasing in popularity and we will hopefully be looking to the ladies to bring us success this season.

Most of these ladies have been selected to attend england training on sun 22nd Feb at the arcadia Manchester
