Having Referreed at Halifax in the National Division One Fixture at the Northbridge Leisure Centre, Tony Czifra was full of praise for the Clubs and Players attending. “It was a pleasure to Referee these matches, instead of a chore, as many games have proved in English Roller Hockey in recent years” said Tony. “Stuart Henderson and Chris Freeman and I took turns in double refereeing the matches, and it was satisfying to officiate matches where players played hard, but fair, and respected the Refs and their opponents”.

Good luck to all the Clubs taking part, and special congratulations to Mayflower who pulled off a great win against a very strong Halifax team, tipped to be ‘Champions-or-there-abouts’ for 2004.
