Letters have now been sent to all clubs in the Northern Counties region with entry forms for this season’s cup competition.
Entry costs £25 per team entered (i.e. a Minor and Senior team entry would cost £50).
So far we have had confirmation that Middlesbrough will be entering teams in all 4 age groups, Sheffield will be entering the Seniors and Minors, and Grimsby are taking part in Inters and Senior Competitions.
The play-offs will take place with the Minors and Intermediates playing on Saturday 22nd May 2004, followed by Schoolboys and Senior’s the following day .
We are looking for clubs who are interested in hosting and assisting with arranging the event and in return the Northern Counties would like to fund taster sessions for the club. This would be an ideal situation to market the sport, get kids and adults down to watch and then pull their skates on and have a go. If you are interested please mail me at lonsdalepeter@hotmail.com.
The Cup Final will be on Sunday 27th June 2004 and will be at an alternative to the venue used for the previous 2 years. If you are interested in hosting and have seating available for spectators please let me know.
