The London RHC took one step closer today to
registering with the NRHA and joining this seasons
Premier League when it reached an agreement with
Space Leisure Centre (SLC) in Hackney, London (just
7 minutes walk from Old Street Tube Station).

“I believe that London RHC now has the finest Roller
Hockey venue in England!!” said organiser Kos Galtos.

“The venue is just 3 years old, has 350 comfortable
seats, can hold over 1,000 spectators and is within
official international sizes.” said Kos “It even has large
modern change rooms that are clean. It feels totally
professional!”

This new venue, with its parquetry floor, seems perfect
for Roller Hockey and could serve the NRHA of
England well in increasing the quality of venues
available in England for national and international
events.

“The London RHC is well and truly happening” said
Kos, “We have a number of players interest in joining
with 3 English, 3 Portuguese, 3 French, 1 Spanish, 2
Australians and probably more when University starts
in September.”

London RHC’s will practise Mondays – 20:00 to 22:00 &
Fridays – 19:00 to 21:00, though the Monday slot may
move in September will have its first practise this Friday
8 August 2003 @ 19:00 at the new venue:

Space Leisure Centre
