The NRHA are currently working with the NSPCC & Sport England to develop a comprehensive Child Protection Policy for all those involved in Roller Hockey in the UK.

“We have had a good meeting with the CPSU (Child Protection in Sport Unit) of Sport England in conjunction with the NSPCC” said Adrian Smith (NRHA Treasurer), spearheading the initiative for the NRHA.

We have been invited to work with them to develop our policy, and our next steps is that selected members of the NRHA will attend courses to learn the basics of Child Protection, to then go on and develop more in this area – and become the route for these learnings to escalate to region and club level”
