Craig Wilson of Sheffield Wildcats confirmed on Sunday that he and Derek Bell intend to continue with the good work they have done over the last few years with the England Ladies.
“We didn’t ‘ave all our players available for the last event” said Craig. Even so, England Ladies are ranked 7th in the world, which is a remarkable achievement given the small number of players in comparison, in the Latin Countries, to what are here in England.
All National Management Team Positions are up for grabs by September 1st. Craig confirmed that he and Derek Bell would be re-applying for the role they have successfully made their own over the past 5 years.
“The process of ‘applying for the position’ may seem somewhat of a paper exercise for these guys, but it also is there to formalise the support all Management Teams can expect from the us” said Tony Czifra of the NRHA. “For too long the NRHA has just handed the responsibility of taking the England Team’s forward, without giving the support needed. This is now changing.”
