Last week, the NRHA in conjunction with all the Regional Associations and with input from the National Teams, met to decide the National and Regional Calendar for 2003/4.

“It was a very productive meeting” said Gordon Morrison of Letchworth RHC, and also the Team Manager for the Schoolboy and Junior England Teams.

“All the regional dates are co-ordinated so that when ECRHA have a Minors tournament or Cup Qualifiers, so do the other regions” said Tony Noble of ECRHA.

The Calendar is being finalised this week and will be signed off by the following :

Tony Czifra – NRHA
Tony Noble – ECRHA
Paul Williams – SCRHA
Peter Lonsdale – NCRHA
Adrian Smith – SECRHA
Gordon Morrison – England

“This meeting has NOT decided where and who matches will be played etc, that’s something for the regions to decide, and tha National League Co-ordinators. What the Calendar gives us though, is the dates they must be platyed, so clashes can easily be avoided” said Tony. “We have also researched Bank Holidays including Easter, so these can be avoided by National Events”.

Once completed, the Calendar will be put into web page format by “Stats Wizard” Dave Wilson of Colchester RHC, so it will be an interactive tool for all to use on this website.

The dates will also be sent to all clubs in June with registration documents, so they can decide with foresight, what events they will enter.
