Congratulations go to Manchester Burke Development who have just secured the Northern Counties Schoolboy League championship.

In what has turned out to be the closest schoolboy leagues in years, featuring 3 very strong teams from Middlesbrough, Spectrum and 2 from Manchester, the Burke Development sponsored team managed to win the league by 2 points from Middlesbrough, with Spectrum a further point behind.

Manchester Burke Development were originally and incorrectly described as the Bulldogs on the Competitions page, but despite this they finished as the highest scoring team and boasted the top 3 scorers in the league with Chris Pearson 32, Steven Manford 29 and Chris Haw 19.
