Please see below various fixture and venue changes affecting the Northern Counties Roller Hockey Association over the coming weeks. I have listed them in order of the leagues that they will be affecting.
Minors League
1. Sheffield’s home tournament on 13th April will now be played at the Waltheof Centre in Sheffield instead of the Barnsley Metrodome and the start time will be 10.15am

2. Spectrums home fixture has changed date from 22nd June (which will now be the Cup Finals Day) to Sunday June 8th and the start time will be 10am
Senior / Elite League
1. Moss Side’s home tournament on 6th April will now be played at the Arcadia in Manchester , start time is 10am
2. Manchester’s rearranged tournament (originally) 9th March will be played on 4th May at Arcadia at 10am start. This was originally Grimsby’s tournament however due to a double booking error their tournament has been rearranged (see below)
3. Grimsby’s home tournament has been changed from 4th May to Sunday 15th June 2003 at Immingham Leisure Centre, start time is 10am.
Cup Finals Day
Finally, the cup finals date has been announced as Sunday 22nd June. Once again this year, the tournament will be held at Middlesbrough’s purpose built open air rink in Albert Park, Middlesbrough.

The Start time will be 11am, and will feature finals for Minors, Intermediates, Schoolboys and Seniors. We will also have the trophy presentation for the league winners and runners up, so I urge all teams who aren’t playing to come along and enjoy the day out.
I have already started publicising the day with articles in the local newspapers in Middlesbrough and hopefully on the radio soon.
The Northern Counties Website is now up and running, however we have yet to launch it. I am hoping this can be done within the next week or 2, so if anyone has any articles they would like everyone to see, please send them to me and I will upload then so everyone can see them when I let everyone know the site address.
