In a tough match at the Arcadia in Manchester yesterday, the 2 sides of the Northern Counties faced a ‘war of the roses’ Battle Royal.
North East came out eventual winners (4 goals to 3) and now top the league by 3 points from ‘Roses rivals’ North West. “East, South-East and South all have games in hand though, so its’ anyones’ league!” said Stewart Henderson, Under 15’s National Co-ordinator.
