The days of England Coaches and Team Managers being appointed and then left to run teams with little accountability to the NRHA’s members was ended today with the release of new NRHA Job Descriptions.
“From now on all England Coaches and Managers have clear guidance as to what is expected of them in their role” announced NRHA President, Glyn Thomas, “This initiative will be backed up further from next season when role holders will also sign a formal agreement with the association.”
Over the years there have been a number of disputes between England management and players that could have been avoided. With the formalising of what is expected there should be a marked improvement in the organisation of England teams and much better communication to members of what they are up to.
