Jo Kingman and Graham Scurr, 2 well known figures in UK Roller Hockey will
be promoting our sport with various T-Shirts worn by them when they appear
on Channel 4’s ‘The Property Ladder’ in January. “Yes, I wear a Roller
Hockey Shirt in almost every scene, quire by accident and totally
unobtrusively” said the northern ‘Gadgie’ as he likes to be known down in
Bosum. ‘Scary’ moved down south some years ago, and until last year still
played a lot of hockey, including representing England, and playing for
Middlesbrough in the Premier League. During filming of the episode, Scary
agreed with the Channel 4 to come down to last year’s National Finals Day
to watch Scary who was Boro’s substitute keeper against HBU in the Seniors
Final, but a problem with Channel 4 cameramen meant it was not to be.
Plenty of exposure from the T-Shirts is expected though!
