North of England selection trials – 15 December

The Northern Counties Roller Hockey Association regional trials will take place at Manchester’s Arcadia rink on Sunday 15th December 2002.

“This years National leagues look like being the hardest in years” said NCRHA Competitions Secretary, Peter Lonsdale, “The NCRHA wants to select the best possible players from the north so we field the strongest teams in the country”

England U17 Coach, Kos Galtos, added “The North has a great chance of winning this years NRHAL’s and with national selection dependant upon playing for your region first, any players that think they are good enough to play for England now or in the future better sign up fast!”

NCRHA Representative trails will be free of charge and open to all that wish to try out, as follows: Minors (U13) 10:00 to 12:00, Intermediate (U15) 12:30 to 14:30, Youth (U17) & Juniors (U20) 15:00 to 17:00.

The NCRHA will be fielding 2 teams in each grade of the NRHAL, as are the other Regions, with space for 10 players per team, so it will be interesting to see who are the North’s best!

A separate trial and training session for the Women’s and Girls (U13) teams are being arranged with the assistance of Claire Hallam for a date early next year.
